Yi-Wen Lin) at ywart@hotmail.com. The goal of the Association is to promote the Art of Chinese Calligraphy & Brush Painting in the north Texas area. Chinese language proficiency or nationality are not requirements of becoming a member. The Association has two joint exhibitions each year.

The Chinese population in Dallas ranks right after New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, and Chicago among U.S. cities. There are many, many people who practice Chinese brush calligraphy and painting here in Dallas. The upcoming book fair from October 12 to 21 at the Dallas Chinese Community Center will have many quality brushes, Four Treasures of A Studio, calligraphy model books, and painting albums for sale.
